The hotel’s rich history, with parts dating back to the 1650s, added a unique charm to our visit. My kids loved exploring the grounds, especially the lakes with their fountains and the various animals like emus and llamas roaming about. It provided a wonderful outdoor adventure, just perfect for family bonding. We enjoyed a cozy room with ample space, featuring tea and coffee-making facilities—ideal for those late-night chats. The staff, particularly Manager Stuart and Chloe during breakfast, were attentive and genuinely welcoming, making our stay delightful. While we missed the evening dining options, the breakfast set us up nicely for explorations and nearby hiking trails. A memorable family getaway!
